High concentration Amiodarone continuous infusion induced Phlebitis: A Case Report

Phlebitis caused by high concentration amiodarone infusion is a rather uncommon occurrence. one of the most reported causes continuous in bradycardia. We case patient with induced phlebitis. Patient felt pain along path cannula, erythema, induration, palpable venous cord. Visual Infusion Score was assessed and VIP found to be 4. suspected incidence phlebitis due IV amiodarone. In this report, we would like discuss about standard protocol administration amiodarone, evaluation Score, management Phlebitis.
